Sitting here on the start of my last week of the DTS (Discipleship Training School) season I reminisce over what the Lord has done over this discipleship period. To be a part of a storyline that has carried the heart of God and the Great Commission has been such an honor. During my time here I have been privileged to hear the history and heart of Circuit Riders. I desire to share this story with you now. The original Circuit Riders began in the 18th and 19th century in England with methodist founder John Wesley, dispatching preachers to America.  a group of radical methodist preachers, they were a movement of selfless, dedicated individuals who gave their very lives to reaching the lost, forming discipleship settings, and shifting the culture around them through wholehearted obedience to Scripture. Riding around through the boundless early frontier their zeal for God created a contagion of simple obedience to the teachings of Jesus and resulted in a movement later described as the First Great Awakening.

Fast forward to the early 2000s when Miss Amy Ward receives a vision from God speaking of the revival of the Riders. As the vision is shared a burning gets ignited, a mission is rebirthed, and THE GREAT COMMISSION continues. This is the storyline I said yes to and continue to partner with. These past months during the Discipleship School I have learned what it means  to embrace what those early revivalist embodied willingly and with bravery, which is daily surrender. The Lord has shown me what it looks like to not only live for Him but how to live with Him, inviting Him into my life not just my ministry. It's truly been a lesson of  learning how to LOVE people and not just DO the mission. Blessed to have been able to do it with such on fire people (shoutout to the Circuit Rider students of 2025 and terry house!) As I continue my journey as a Circuit Rider I will be going home for a one month break before entering into my next adventure….TOUR! Proceeding into this endeavor I am continuing to receive funds for:

Celebrating one of the roomies birthdays:)
Celebrating one of the roomies birthdays:)

-  Flight ticket to arrival base

- Daily meals (which will consist of daily eating out because we will not be staying in a host home for more than three days and not every home is guaranteed to feed us)

- Gas/transportation (Every week we will be in a different location. My tour team will hit 8 states in 8 weeks)

- Toiletries

- Emergency living expenses (in the case that a home does not workout our team has to have expenses to grab an air BnB or hotel)

Thank you so much for ALL the support rather financially or in prayer. Each person's yes to be a part of this with me partnering, encouraging, praying and just simply following along has been such a blessing.  May the Peace and Love that is our Christ Jesus be made known to every heart!

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)

Blessings,

Teya
